This is Us
Your family's story is the ultimate story to be told because it not only will be with you forever, but your images will be passed down for generations to come. I can't tell you how many times when I was a child, I sat down with the photo albums in my grandmother's living room and poured over the pictures of my mother, father and their siblings when they were little. I loved asking about the story behind the images that were told. This is our goal when we take your family's pictures.
Our story is unique. Just ask us. It is a story of love, loss, reunification, heartache and much JOY! Our goal is to tell your story in pictures.
Our family sessions generally last any where from 20 minutes to and hour or more. They can be at a favorite location or we can suggest a site. We will be upfront that kids come first and while we always ask the parents what the most important image is for the session and try to capture that first, after that, we let the kids set the pace of the session with our guidance. With younger children, we play with them and we watch them play and photograph them. In the middle of the play, we may suggest family poses. We play games with them to make their session feel fun! We have found that children having fun make for the best images. We encourage ring around the rosy and tickle fights. Everyone on our team is also in the field of education so we know kids of all ages.
Family Portrait Session
Basic Family Session (Up to 6 people) -- $325
- Pre-shoot individual consultation to discuss the important shots you would like for us to get first! Then we will discuss with you how we run the session and if you want, what you can tell your family, especially younger children, to get them excited for their session.
- We will take as much time as we need to get perfect images. This may be 20 minutes or it may be an hour or more. We leave it up to you and what you believe is appropriate for you family especially if you have young children.
- Several locations locally or around the state. There is a travel fee for venues that are 20 miles and more outside of Bangor.
- A gallery with at least fully edited 30 high-resolution, fully-edited images from your session. Although, we usually give many more.
- Online gallery of your high-resolution images that you can share on your social media or print from our site or download to print from your favorite lab.
- $10 Print Credit
Deluxe Family Session (7-12 People) -- $375
- Pre-shoot individual consultation to discuss the important shots you would like for us to get first! Then we will discuss with you how we run the session and if you want, what you can tell your family, especially younger children, to get them excited for their session.
- We will take as much time as we need to get perfect images. This may be 20 minutes or it may be an hour or more. We leave it up to you and what you believe is appropriate for you family especially if you have young children.
- Several locations locally or around the state. There is a travel fee for venues that are 20 miles and more outside of Bangor.
- A gallery with at least fully edited 50 high-resolution, fully-edited images from your session. Although, we usually give many more.
- Portraits of individuals and all family groupings (large family group, siblings, cousins etc.)
- Online gallery of your high-resolution images that you can share on your social media or print from our site or download to print from your favorite lab.
- $20 Print Credit
- For more than 12 people, an additional fee of $10 per person is added
